Many of us are wonderful at giving. We give from the heart and we continue to give and give, which is truly a wonderful thing. To maintain and achieve balance in one’s life we must also be receivers as well. We need to allow ourselves to receive from others so that we have a giving and receiving balance in our lives. We don’t want to give so much that we are actually depleted and in turn defeating our own purpose. Allow the light of reiki to help you be receiver as well as a giver to bring and maintain balance within your life. Embrace the gifts that others give to you, try to understand that by allowing yourself to receive, you allow the giver to feel as happy as you do when you give something from your heart.
